Our Dad has been struggling with physical issues as far back as I can remember. We often struggled yet he has worked very hard, sometimes to hard as seen in his condition today. Many mornings it was a struggle for him to get out of bed and other days not even able to walk when he got home from work. He was often out of work for days at a time but still forced himself back knowing he had us.

Over the years many of us family and friends alike sacrificed to help. Out of work, Doctors and minimal finances it seemed normal. I remember one time when I was 16 or 17 and we were at one of my soccer games. Game was over and we were walking across the soccer field. All of a sudden he stopped in obvious pain and we stood there for a bit. I had to put my foot behind his and move it forward inches one foot after the other until he could walk on his own. This was typical over the years.
As the years go our lives are changing rapidly. Myself 24 and my wife are both in the Army with one child and another on the way, my sister 26 with three children and we have three other siblings the youngest 13.
With all have love and respect for Dad and he does understand it is getting much more difficult to be there for his needs physical and financial as much as we have in the past especially financially. He has asked numerous times for us to borrow, invest in a business with him. As much as it is legit and looks like a good fit for him it’s just not there. We saw this Go fund Me online and have hopes this can work for him. It would be a lot less worry for us knowing he is moving forward.
